About Our House Plans

License and Copyright Agreement: When you purchase stock plans from our Plan Library Service, they are to be used for the construction of one or more homes.  Any copying of the plans or design concept is strictly prohibited.  James Wentling / Architects retains ownership and original copyright protection of the designs.

Notice: Since some of our designs were originally commissioned by builders, some plans may be unavailable in certain geographic regions.  James Wentling / Architects reserves the right to withhold the release of plans based on potential intramarket competition.

All Plans Include: foundation plans, floor plans with structural information, all elevations (some with alternate front), wall section, electrical plans, general notes.

Modified Plans: Modified plans can be issued as reproducible with modifications that will allow the client to have their choice of foundation, structural system and other material specifications.  Please call our office (215-568-2551 ext. 4) for cost estimates and time schedules.

Optional Additional Services Include: HVAC or plumbing layouts, reverse plans, plan modifications, and marketing support materials.  Please call our office (215-568-2551 ext. 4) for more information.  We also provide most plans as electronic files (CADD).

Codes and Approvals: All plans were designed to meet the applicable local building requirements at the time the plans were drawn.  These codes vary from state to state.  We cannot warrant that plans will meet your local code requirements.  Our principal does hold architectural licenses in several states, however, and if code compliance or sealed plans are required, please call our office (215-568-2441 ext. 4).
